Homeschooling Teen Magazine needs submissions from teens like YOU! If you have a story to tell, we want to know! Maybe you’ve written a poem that our readers would enjoy, or perhaps you want to bring attention to someone who deserves recognition. Send us your editorials and essays, reviews and reports. Contributions can be serious or lighthearted. Just keep it all clean, honest, and responsible. The following list of topics will give you some creative ideas. Examples of things we are looking for:

Homeschooling Teen is seeking college students to write about life on campus. If you are a homeschool graduate attending college, we’d love to have you share your experiences and insights about what to expect in regard to campus culture, academics, social aspects, time management, study tips, etc. to help upcoming freshmen prepare for their first year at college. We accept original poems and poetry creations written by homeschooling teens — from free verse and haiku to ballads and sonnets. The tone of your poem can be humorous and fun, or serious and thoughtful — and the subject may be an expression of joy, love, spirituality, sadness, family values, relationships, the world around us, or anything of emotional importance to you. Poems must be at least three lines long and include your first name and age. Send your poems to: mail@homeschoolingteen.com



Do you draw cartoons? We would love to publish yours in Homeschooling Teen! Please write and tell us about the type of cartoon you create (single pane, strip, etc.), the topics you cover (current events, homeschool life, etc.), and send us a sample along with your name and age. Do you like to sketch or paint? We welcome original artwork created by homeschooling teens for publication in our magazine. Take a digital photograph or scan a copy of your work and send it along with your name and age to: mail@homeschoolingteen.com. Other forms of creative illustration are also accepted, such as graphic design and photography.



  1. I am certainly going to email you some of my work. I am into writting, art and textiles and i am about to start my gcse’s so i would love to get my work recognized at a young age, thank you 🙂
